2010 Ranvet Stakes Final Field

The Coolmore Classic Day will take place this Saturday as part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, and the Rosehill Gradens Racecourse will be host to the fantastic day of racing, which will see the Group 1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) competed.

Taking place as the sixth race of nine, the 2,000 metre staying event will see 12 starters, all at least three-years-old competing for the $400,000 prize money.

Drawing the favoured inside barrier is the Kevin Moses-trained No Wine No Song. After finishing ninth in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m), the gelding will need to take full advantage of his barrier start.

Moatize, who finished third in the Group 1 Australian Cup (2000m), could be another strong starter. Having proved himself over the long distance, the Bart Cummings-trained gelding will hope to continue his strong form in the Ranvet Stakes.

Also taking place at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on Saturday will be the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m), Group 2 Todman Stakes (1200m), Group 2 Canterbury Stakes (1300m), and the Group 2 Reisling Stakes (1200m).
